Biblical Calendar — Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and PyBuilt Technologies LLC, 30 N Gould Street, Suite R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA ("we"), about the use of the Biblical Calendar app. By using the app you accept them. The app is meant for people aged 13 and over.
2. What the app is
Biblical Calendar works out a Biblical calendar — months, feasts, Sabbaths, New Moons, the hours of sunset and twilight — from astronomical calculations and the rules described in the app. The results are calculations: other calendars and traditions may reckon days differently, and the calculations may contain errors. For any religious observance or any important decision, check the dates yourself. The app is not a religious authority.
3. Bible texts
The verses shown come from Protestant Bibles in the public domain, named under each verse, or from translations made by artificial intelligence, marked as such. An AI translation may contain mistakes and is no substitute for a Bible you trust.
4. Your content
What you write and choose in the app — events, journal, pictures, the Safe — is yours and stays yours. You are responsible for it and for having the right to use the pictures you add. We have no access to it (see the Privacy Policy).
5. Passwords, PIN, the key on paper and the Safe
- You are responsible for keeping your PIN, passwords and your key on paper. We cannot recover them, because we never know them.
- If you forget every password of the Safe and also lose your key on paper, its content cannot be opened by anyone. Burn erases the Safe for ever and cannot be undone.
- Losing the key on paper means that the copies saved in your Drive and in your backup files cannot be opened by anyone.
- The time "needed to break a password" shown by the app is an estimate, not a guarantee.
6. Backups and erasing
The app keeps safety copies on your phone, encrypted backup files in your Download folder and, if you connect Google, copies in your Drive. These reduce the risk of losing your data but cannot remove it entirely (for example if the phone is lost before a copy was saved). Keep your own copies of anything important, and keep your key on paper.
To protect you, the app erases data from your phone in the cases described in the Privacy Policy (section 6): after 100 wrong tries in a row, and in the cases you turn on yourself (days without any opening, signs of theft, a command from another phone of yours, Google refusing this phone your account). Such an erase can also be set off by something that is not a theft (for example a Google error or an account change). What was not yet saved in your Drive or in your backup files may then be lost. Turn these options on only if you accept this.
7. Proper use
Use the app lawfully. Do not try to break its protections, copy it for sale, or use it to harm others. You may not store in the app content that is unlawful for you to hold.
8. Ownership
The app, its design, drawings, pictures, texts and code belong to PyBuilt Technologies LLC or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your devices, for as long as you keep these terms.
9. Services of others
Some features use services of others — Google sign-in and Google Drive, Google Fonts, Google's ML Kit text recognition, Android's location, speech and text-to-speech services, OpenStreetMap and OpenFreeMap maps. Their own terms and policies apply to them.
10. Paid features
Some features may be offered for payment through Google Play. Prices, payment and refunds follow the rules of Google Play shown at the moment of purchase.
11. No warranty
The app is given "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, express or implied, of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted working, as far as the law allows.
12. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss arising from dates, times or texts shown by the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or 10 US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits rights that the law of your country does not allow to be limited.
13. Ending
You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may end or change the app; if we stop it, the data on your phone and in your Drive remain yours.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If you live in the European Union or another country whose law protects consumers, you keep the rights that law gives you and may go to its courts.
15. Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be published here with a new date, and an important change will be shown in the app for you to accept.
